SMPS: How has SMPS membership been of value to you and your career?

SMPS: How did you get started with your career?
I got interested when my son was in architectural design school.
SMPS: Are you interested in seeking CPSM certification; and if so, how do you expect it to benefit you?
Not currently.
SMPS: What excites you about your work and the contribution you make?
I have been in jobs where people were let go because the firm didn't have the work load. I feel that I am helping to keep people
employed and families fed.
SMPS: Pretend you're a CEO. What three concerns about the firm's future keep you up at night?
Pipeline, pipeline, pipeline.
SMPS: If you could visit anywhere in the world you have never been, where would you go?
Hawaii.
SMPS: Do you have a secret talent? What is it?
I can write in mirror image.
SMPS: What was your first real job?
Clerk at Woolworths Department Store when I was 16.
SMPS: What's the sneakiest thing you've ever done and got away with?
Can't say.
SMPS: You're a new addition to the crayon box. What color would you be and why?
I'm red, a crayon with a lot of flecks of different shades of red mixed together.
SMPS: What was the best concert you've ever attended?
The Cleveland Orchestra when I was nine because it moved me to tears and opened my eyes to music.
