SMPS South Florida – Fall 2026 Newsletter

SMPS South Florida is now accepting content submissions for the Fall 2026 edition of The A/E/C Nexus, scheduled for release in early November.

This issue will center on Legacy in Motion:

Honoring 40 years of leadership, impact, and progress across South Florida’s A/E/C industry.

As we reflect on SMPS South Florida’s 40-year milestone, this edition will highlight the ideas, expertise, firms, and professionals contributing to the continued advancement of our industry.

We invite members, sponsors, and industry professionals to contribute content that is thoughtful, engaging, and relevant to South Florida’s architecture, engineering, and construction community.

Ideas to Spark Your Submission

Need inspiration? Here are a few prompts to get you started:

• What industry trend, client priority, or market shift should A/E/C marketers and business developers be watching?
• What lesson from a recent pursuit, project, program, or partnership could benefit our profession?
• How is your firm approaching leadership, mentorship, marketing strategy, or client experience?
• What does legacy mean in the context of your firm, your career, or the built environment?
• What conversations are shaping the future of education, healthcare, transportation, development, or civic infrastructure in South Florida?
• What is one idea, tool, or practice helping your team work smarter or communicate more effectively?

Submission Guidelines

• Preferred length: approximately 500 words
• Conversational, polished, and engaging tone encouraged
• Shorter articles and quick-hit perspectives are welcome
• Photos, graphics, and visuals are encouraged
• Articles should be educational, insight-driven, and relevant to the broader A/E/C community
• Submissions should not read as firm advertisements, project promotions, or sales pieces
• Firm examples may be included when they support a larger lesson, trend, or industry perspective

Please include:

• Author name and title
• Company name
• Headshot
• Any accompanying images, graphics, or logos

Important Dates

• Call for Articles Opens: Immediately
• Article Submission Deadline: Thursday, October 22, 2026

Early submissions are encouraged to support newsletter planning and layout.
